Great for the price.By tjIf this had an HDMI input it would be the perfect projector for it's price range. The resolution rating, SD /vs HD is based on the video input. You can obtain 720p using the RGB input if your video card supports that high an output. Even then, I can see little difference in the picture quality even using the single RCA video input versus the RGB at 1024 x 768 from my computer. It throws a crisp bright picture that can be watched even in moderate light. The colors are bright along with the nearly 6'x9' image I'm getting with about 30 feet throw to the screen. Great features that you would expect from a much more costly projector. Great choice for a home theater projector...using a WD TV Live Plus connected to 2 external hard drives and internet connection for streaming movies, and a 5.1 channel surround hooked in with digital line.
